  • at Platform we are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Supported Living Operations Manager to join us and support the continuous improvement of the service
  • the Specialist Housing Team provides services to help the most vulnerable people in our communities by providing a range of supported housing options
  • as Support Living Operations Manager you will ensure effective day to day operational management of Platform’s Supported Living Portfolio on a group wide basis including temporary homeless accommodation, learning disability accommodation, commissioned services, including Young People’s Services and a Falls Response Service
  • the role will allow you to work amongst an incredibly supportive team, as well as having the opportunity to mentor others. Whilst this is a home-based role, you will be required to travel to group offices and schemes regularly to support your team

Responsibility


  • helping care home residents with their personal care which includes getting dressed, washing and eating
  • involvement with writing residents’ care plans
  • providing information to family members regarding the care plan
  • ensuring that the resident’s needs and wishes are met
  • working with other health and social care professionals to provide holistic care
  • administering medication under supervision
  • care workers and carers must also respect clients’ privacy, dignity, and individuality, and communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • it’s important for care workers to have the necessary training and qualifications, whilst following safeguarding procedures, as well as empathy and compassion, to provide high-quality care to those in need
  • gently encouraging residents to get involved with recreational activities and hobbies
  • providing company: chattingand sharing news
  • giving feedback to health and social care professionals
  • recording and reporting essential informationin the residents’ daily reports accurately and immediately
  • to develop and maintain a high-quality service level for the people we support, your team and for CQC
  • develop effective working relationships for the people we support, your team, local authorities, 3rd parties, and CQC
  • to carry out audits to monitor the service performance
  • where service improvements are identified to report and action
  • establish and maintain relationships with the people we support and their families
  • care plans, risk assessments, supervisions and appraisals completed in an effective and timely manner
  • to ensure that all necessary records are complete, accurate and legible, and available to authorised persons when required
  • to ensure clear understanding of MCA and DoLS
