Requirements

  • solid experience of managing and improving OTIF processes with up to 12-week product lead times

  • solid experience of working with Netsuite or Oracle ERP systems

  • supply Chain Planner OR Supply Chain Coordinator with experience of working in an international supply chain - Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Import/Export Processes, Forecasting, Inventory Management, International Shipping
  • have utilised ERP systems for MRP planning and have managed MRP outputs
  • 8-10 years in a component planning/purchasing role
  • participated in/Led monthly S&OP meetings
  • an awareness of Health and Safety law and best practices
  • can demonstrate understanding of the Planning process with strong examples in managing component demand, avoiding stockouts and managing costs

Responsibility


  • work closely with manufacturing & NPD to ensure optimum supply performance on all existing and new product lines to ensure OTIF delivery
  • being the link between customer service , operations, supply chain team, and suppliers
  • being the link between customer service , operations, supply
  • as a raw material planner, ensuring accurate planning of components, based on demand
  • planning and executing procurement of raw materials from global suppliers
  • updating essential system planning data for components to ensure our system is effectively planning future requirements
  • driving a culture of innovation and implement best practices in Planning
  • supporting the supply chain team to implement cost savings initiatives through process improvements, alternate material, and supplier sourcing
  • in partnership with IT, as a SME support implementation of correct MRP procedures in ERP system to translate Finished Goods demand into component demand for raw material planning
  • completing special projects and assignments as requested
  • maintaining excellent relationships and communications with manufacturing, and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules, and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries
