must have Top Tier COMAH site experience
knowledge of Air Separation operations or similar plant is desirable
ability to manage issues of an inter-disciplinary nature is preferred
excellent communication skills with a high level of personal integrity

Responsibility

ensuring compliance with site standard working practices and all H&S requirements
continuous reviewing of operational methods, procedures and efficiency
overseeing the site KPI's
reducing any waste and/or damage to product
to ensure all contractual KPI’s are complete for each SET before entering service
to ensure that all records are completed and entered into the maintenance management system
obtain and use engineering schedules, procedures and specifications for traction and rolling stock activities
support good quality, health, safety and environmental practices in the workplace
organise resources and prioritise routines to undertake planned traction and rolling stock engineering activities
contribute fully to all site and business quality, safety and environmental initiatives
lead and manage a shift team and maintain excellent working relationships with all site personnel
supervise, monitor and control plant operations to meet quality and operational requirements
control and supervise contractor personnel in accordance with site rules, regulations and permit to work requirements
identify and resolve operational issues as they arise
act as senior person on site for on/off site emergencies and implement site emergency plans as required
ensure all site operations are always conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with the company operating and safety standards
produce regular management reports and KPI’s
to be actively involved in NPD projects which affect your department
effective day-to-day management of 4 direct reports and indirect reports, including performance appraisals, personal development and succession planning
