A minimum of 5 years’ experiencein a model making or prototyping role
working with CAD files to enable the manufacture of models and prototypes

manual construction methods
proven experience in model making, moulding, and casting, preferably in a related industry
strong understanding of materials and their properties, as well as familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment
excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
ability to interpret technical drawings and translate them into physical models
creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

develop and construct highly detailed scale models of whiskey boxes using various materials and techniques
design and fabricate moulds for prototype and production purposes, ensuring accuracy and functionality
perform casting operations with a range of materials, including resins, to produce high-fidelity prototypes
maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices
work with the innovations team to refine designs and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the modelling, moulding, and casting processes
to manufacture prototype POS and retail equipment to technical drawings, sketches or briefs where necessary
to build and manufacture production jigging to technical drawings, sketches and briefs as necessary
to manufacture vacuum forming pattern and production tools
to manage date expectation to ensure compliance to critical paths
to advise and comment regarding specification and production techniques
to build production first offs to ensure design, quality and Health & Safety objectives have been met
participation in the company's quarterly stock takes where required
to carry out and other reasonable duties as instructed by your Line Manager
to work with project management and CAD engineers to ascertain methods of prototype manufacture to meet the increasing deadline pressures within the business
