Comment on the job position of production team leader

Requirements

A formal qualification in an Engineering discipline is desirable
experience of working with in a manufacturing/FMCG technical background
excellent organisational skills including planning of labour and processes
HNC/HND in an engineering discipline
significant experience in the operation and maintenance of large generating plant
experience in managing a Safety Rules based system
ability to support other disciplines electrical, mechanical, control and instrumentation with work planning and plant diagnostics
ability to effectively work to ensure effective liaison with business teams
working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
having a technical and commercial capability to optimise plant performance and contribution
responsible for delivering safety form the system in accordance with site safety rules
able to handle complex information and make informed decisions under pressure that impact H&S, plant availability and EBITDA
at least 10 years of experience in a corporate environment, consulting or financial services preferred
experience in presentation design, events and marketing communications essential
experience managing client expectations
direct people management and proven leadership skills
strong customer service ethos and proven skills
ability to communicate with all levels within an organization
ability to work under pressure in a demanding corporate environment
you’ll have experience with workflow systems and processes and believe they have a key role in production efficiency
