  • previous experience in a Service Controller, Engineering Scheduler, Customer Service, or Office Administration role
  • have experience working within the Lifting Equipment, Construction Equipment or Vehicle Mechanics industries
  • strong organisation, communication, and multi-tasking skills
  • hold strong communication skills and have the ability to demonstrate good leadership
  • proven experience within a field service, workshop or engineering environment
  • possesses excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills

Responsibility


  • manage and schedule engineers for servicing and call outs
  • manage inbound/outbound calls with customers, ensuring clarity and satisfaction
  • control daily engineer service and repair schedules using Simpro
  • update and maintain data in Simpro and Hubspot
  • assist with engineer queries and liaise with Sales Managers for potential business
  • sending RAMS, insurance certifications with engineer details to customers
  • liaising with area Sales Managers to communicate additional installation/repair opportunities of the back of engineer service reports

  • ensure the highest levels of safety are maintained at all times for Northern services, customers and employees
  • monitor all services operated by Northern Rail using relevant IT systems, ensuring that other controllers are aware of disruption
  • advise staff and other agencies of service disruption, unplanned booking office closures and other relevant information
  • ensure that the current status and allocation of the Northern fleet is accurately reflected in the relevant IT systems
  • liaise with Customer Relations department and LLPA/CIS operatives as required
