Requirements

  • use various types of machines to cut and finish wood products
  • skilled Bench Hand Joiner
  • work can vary from bespoke Staircases, Casement windows, Sash windows, Doors & Cabinetry
  • able to read and work from technical drawings
  • be able to interpret to drawings to manufacture a product
  • proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner or Cabinetmaker
  • ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking principles
  • familiarity with woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • excellent attention to detail and quality control
  • ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • carpentry: 3 years
  • furniture fitting: 3 years
  • ideally 5+ years of experience in joinery workshop
  • dalkeith: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
  • bench joiner|shop fitting|hand tools
  • must have 5 years’ experience of Bench Hand Joinery

  • working with traditional tools and CNC wood machines
