Requirements

extensive hands-on experience of software system design, architecture, development, testing and monitoring covering both Back End and frontend
extensive experience of working with agile methodologies and practices
technical leader who has worked closely with Product Managers
expert level of development in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, TypeScript
knowledge of position sensors, microprocessors and software development would be beneficial
business winning / development experience, with demonstrable experience in successful contract award achievement of complex engineering projects or programmes
customer requirements analysis and elaboration skills, including experience with tools and techniques for requirement elaboration
experience in engineering planning and early lifecycle engineering delivery, including technical proposal / executive summary writing, and work breakdown structure definition
expert level C# development skills
experience working on distributed systems
extensive expertise in designing high-availability systems with swift and accurate recovery
experience with Kafka
proficient in working with containerized microservices architectures and Kubernetes
mobile

experience in ensuring the security of mobile app development and threat models

Responsibility

ease of maintenance assessment
development of control algorithms for both analogue and digital systems, typically in the control of BLDC motors
maintenance Task Analysis
modelling of Actuation Systems and conducting performance assessments
establish defined deliverables and objectives for the completion of the work package
level Of Repair Analysis
identification of sub-system requirements
provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower and time
reliability Centred Maintenance
identification of suitable electromechanical components , working co-operatively with suppliers where needed
support management and monitoring of work package delivery
provisioning data compilation
definition of design proving plans and conducting design proving tests in support of product qualification
establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration
disposal analysis
responsibility for leading and influencing the engineering strategy and planning for technology re-fresh upgrades for all Royal Navy Submarine Class Combat Systems
covering definition of the technical proposals, identification of engineering milestone maturity targets, engineering lifecycle tailoring, work breakdown structure definition and coordination of work package description definition in accordance with Systems Engineering processes, tools and techniques (e.g
