  • we are searching for a suitable candidate to join our Safestop supported accommodation project in Didsbury as Night Homelessness Support Worker
  • this will involve running group sessions and other key activities within the supported accommodation to help them progress towards independence
  • you will also hold shared responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service
  • the appointed candidate will join a team of professionals working alongside twelve 16-25 year old residents to move from hostel living to their own independent accommodation
  • as Night Homelessness Support Worker, you will manage a caseload of clients, addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs; supporting them to progress towards independence
  • ensure health and safety of the environment for clients, staff, visitors and volunteers through regular risk assessment, health and safety checks and reporting in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy
  • proactively lead on partnerships with local agencies including statutory teams, to support the well-being of Depaul clients in accordance with data protection and information sharing protocols
