  • agreement to a full CRB check
  • no more than 6 driving penalty points
  • ability to pass drug & alcohol swab test
  • eligibility to work in the UK
  • UK/ EU driving licence for a minimum of 2 years Max of 6 penalty points will be considered no codes for IN10, TT99, MS50,UT50, CD40-90, DD40-90, DR10-90 etc
  • valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
  • ability to drive and operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently
  • hold a valid UK driving licence
  • good communication skills, a can do attitude and customer focused approach

Responsibility

  • carry out vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is road worthy
  • maintain the vehicle clean & safe
  • be responsible to collect payment from customers at the time of delivery
  • maintain a driving log & complete daily paperwork to ensure that each delivery is carried out correctly
  • ensure you follow local driving laws & road regulations
  • you will be required to deliver to a minimum of 10 clients
  • parcel multi drop work - Must have your own van
  • 60-90 drops a day
  • 50-100 miles
  • 8am-5pm
  • tuesday to Saturday
  • due to expansion, we are looking for Self Employed Couriers to fulfil the ever-increasing demands for our services
  • walk the route of where the goods need delivering in the customers house, advise if you have any concerns of access
  • safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to deliver parcels to customers
  • load and unload parcels from the vehicle
  • follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
  • communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
  • adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
  • perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
