Responsibility

we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Handyman/woman to join out team and assist in the upkeep of our venues
repair and maintain equipment and machinery as needed
assist with fixtures, appliances and furnishings
responds promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests
maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance of equipment and storage areas
perform manual labour and heavy lifting as required
the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standards
perform routine tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, painting and carpentry. conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and promptly address issues

fire compartmentation: Implementing fire compartmentation measures to contain and prevent the spread of fire within a structure
fire stopping: Applying fire stopping materials to seal gaps and penetrations in buildings, maintaining the integrity of fire-resistance-rated assemblies
installation and replacement of fire doors: Precise fitting and installation of fire-rated doors to prevent the spread of fire and smoke in buildings
receive instructions from the site manager or supervisor and carry out repairs
undertake general maintenance such as tiling, carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating, snagging, window repairs
operate within Health & Safety and site guidelines
