  • A degree in a design based subject
  • excellent technical knowledge of footwear, including various material properties and shoe construction

Responsibility

  • calendar: Working alongside Merchandiser to ensure new designs are completed for order placement with our partner factories
  • carry out customer meetings and presentations
  • create seasonal trend concepts for the department
  • work closely with key suppliers for tech packs and sample management
  • design innovative, high-quality footwear collections
  • collaborate with the design team
  • research and stay up to date with the latest trends in fashion and footwear
  • create technical drawings, sketches, and prototypes of designs
  • work closely with the product development team
  • attend trade shows and collaborate with external vendors
  • mentor junior designers on the team
