Requirements


  • experience working in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent
  • previous experience within a Clinical Lead role
  • experience within theatres
  • experience within orthopaedics and general theatre
  • awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
  • qualified ODP / RGN with up to date and relevant theatre experience
  • theatre Management experience within a comparable private Hospital or NHS trust
  • experience in Day Case theatres preferred but not essential
  • experience in Orthopaedic and Cardiac theatres preferred but not essential
  • registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
  • experience in working in the Private sector preferred but not essential
  • proven experience of managing / supervising a theatre suite
  • proven track record in managing theatre departments in line with CQC
  • ability to lead and motivate a team of staff
  • happy to work in a hands-on capacity as and when required

  • achieving key clinical, operational, and financial targets, whilst ensuring patient safety is maintained
  • up to £75,000 DOE
