Responsibility


  • we are looking for an Administrator to join our Visual Arts department on fixed-term, part-time basis
  • to coordinate and book travel and accommodation for artists
  • to book meetings, take minutes and follow up on actions as required
  • organise requests for office equipment within the department
  • southbank Centre exists to provide great artistic experiences for everyone
  • arrange training for the Exhibitions teams as required
  • through art, we invite our visitors to enjoy shared cultural encounters together
  • to draft correspondence to general enquiries
  • to gaze
  • assist with all financial processes relating to the department, including setting up suppliers, raising purchase orders and invoices, coding and reconciling expenditure and coordinating per diems and petty cash for artists and their teams
  • to act as Fire Marshall for the Visual Arts teams
  • to listen
  • any other duties as required by the Director or Deputy Director
  • to be moved
  • to discover a new idea or a new perspective
  • maintain the filing systems for the Hayward Gallery , and ensure Hayward Gallery Intranet kept up to date
