Responsibility


  • taking a supporting role in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all public lighting systems and maintenance
  • to provide an out-of-hours highway emergency service if required
  • create work packs for street lighting maintenance
  • inspect all lighting work for any defects
  • communicate with the public, engineers, and council on on-going and future works
  • carry out risk assessments in line with health and safety regulations
  • support the wider team in delivering reactive and planned maintenance works
  • to comply with all Health and Safety regulations and the company’s Health and Safety Policy at all times
  • to attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments
  • A south London based event production agency is looking for a Lighting Technician to join the team
  • manage the lighting side of the warehouse, keeping it organised and tidy
  • maintain kit and lighting components where appropriate
  • pick equipment from kit lists and load vehicles
  • operate Chamsys and Avolight lighting desks at live events
  • this role will be split across both the warehouse picking, prepping and repair of lights as per a technical kit list, as well as the onsite set up, operation and derig
  • onsite AV rigging
