Responsibility

taking a supporting role in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all public lighting systems and maintenance
to provide an out-of-hours highway emergency service if required
create work packs for street lighting maintenance
inspect all lighting work for any defects
communicate with the public, engineers, and council on on-going and future works
carry out risk assessments in line with health and safety regulations
support the wider team in delivering reactive and planned maintenance works
to comply with all Health and Safety regulations and the company’s Health and Safety Policy at all times
to attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments
A south London based event production agency is looking for a Lighting Technician to join the team
manage the lighting side of the warehouse, keeping it organised and tidy
maintain kit and lighting components where appropriate
pick equipment from kit lists and load vehicles
operate Chamsys and Avolight lighting desks at live events
this role will be split across both the warehouse picking, prepping and repair of lights as per a technical kit list, as well as the onsite set up, operation and derig
onsite AV rigging
