  • teaching: 1 year
  • cheltenham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
  • this is a long term position to cover the 3 academic terms per year starting Friday 27th September 2024
  • strong knowledge of subject matter
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • must be confident teaching young children and have experience
  • ability to create a positive, inclusive and fun learning environment
  • effective classroom management skills
  • A valid DBS check is mandatory
  • previous experience in teaching young people is crucial for this role
  • CRB/DBS required and experience teaching young people is vital. Any information with the schools or organisations you are currently teaching within would also be useful to us
  • job Type: Part-time
  • part-time hours: 1 per week
  • proven experience teaching street dance, preferably to children
  • strong knowledge of street dance styles and techniques
  • relevant qualifications in dance or performing arts
  • A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to manage groups of children effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
  • valid DBS check

Responsibility


  • develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
  • create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • provide instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods
  • assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate instructional activities

  • conduct classes for students of varying ages and skill levels, providing clear instruction and guidance
  • develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans that align with the needs and abilities of the students
