Requirements


  • wellington TA21 9JQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
  • proven preventive conservation skills and experience, with the ability to think creatively and pragmatically when problem solving
  • strong organisational skills to be able to manage time effectively
  • self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • project management experience
  • ICON Conservator Accreditation or relevant equivalent experience whilst working towards accreditation
  • experience of working with a major project and/or building works in the context of historic interiors including an understanding of protections for the preservation of collections and interiors during building works
  • the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across multiple teams and with a diverse range of disciplines, including the regional conservation team, the wider consultancy and with property staff
  • great communication and collaboration skills across a diverse range of professions, including the ability to influence and negotiate in situations where there may be conflicting priorities
