3-5 years Management experience within a warehouse environment
shift Labour Planning
previous experience of strong people management
warehouse health & safety legislation
operational methods and procedures relating to the FMCG industry
customer service experience

proven track record of working to Key Performance Indicators
proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment
strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and health and safety regulations
ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
effective communication skills, both verbal and written
flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime as required
excellent people and operations management track record
effective communication and organisation skills
confidence with the ability to take responsibility and make decisions in a pressurised environment

Responsibility

reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible to deliver an efficient and cost-effective warehousing solution to accommodate the requirements of the Aylesford operation and achieve the necessary service levels whilst operating within the legal limits
monitoring daily operational targets/costs and Key Performance Indicators, ensuring these take into account Company standards and agreed Customer service level parameters during your shift
manage the evening shift - both supervisors and operations ensuring the operation runs efficiently
