Requirements

  • \*We are ideally looking for a MALE support worker due to supporting 2 Males in their home
  • due to personal care requirements within the role we are unable to accept male applicants
  • this role is offered to those who are available part time - there are full time opportunities also
  • this position is suitable for females only due to the needs of female service users who receive personal care
  • previous professional experience as a care assistant
  • one position available for Male or Female in HOUSE 2
  • mock rota with set shifts available on request if you think you may be interested
  • previous experience working with learning disabilities
  • excellent communication skills
  • sleepovers are an absolute requirement of the role
  • driver’s License & access to own vehicle
  • excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with young people and partner agencies
  • experience of working with young people and/or challenging behaviour in either paid, unpaid or volunteer capacity
  • strong organisational skills in order to be flexible and responsive, to meet the needs of young people
  • full, Driving Licence

Responsibility
