ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement
support the department in developing and implementing the overall strategic engineering plan whilst working collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver the HPUK business strategic objectives
ensuring container handling plant is correctly specified, maintained, upgraded as necessary by the implementation of relevant projects to ensure the highest standards of equipment safety, availability, reliability and obsolescence
develop a full understanding of current safety regulations concerning machine safety and apply and demonstrate compliance of equipment under their responsibility
co-ordinate, manage and contribute to capital expenditure projects as directed and specified ensuring projects are completed in relevant timescales involving all key stakeholders and within budgeted cost limits
review and analyse reinsurance contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines
process and administer reinsurance placements, including the creation of policy records, endorsements, and premium calculations
verify and reconcile premiums, commissions, and claims transactions
liaise with underwriters, brokers, and reinsurers to resolve queries and provide technical support
assist in the development and implementation of reinsurance processes and procedures
conduct quality assurance checks on reinsurance data and ensure accuracy and completeness
