having a valid, full driving UK licence is essential
experience of working with children and young people as well as understanding of the issues that face young people in care
promoting, safeguarding and protecting the welfare of our young people

to work well as part of a team and must be able to accept direction and guidance
encouraging the development of the individual interests of our young people
have a full UK driving licence and car as this role will involve travelling

Responsibility

staff will be required to work between our Airdrie and Blackwood campus

st Philip’s School provides specialist Residential Care and Education to young people aged 10 – 18 years, who have a range of additional support needs, including social, emotional and behavioural development
we are currently recruiting for Residential Child Care Workers as we develop and expand the range of services available to our young people
applicants with a current UK Driving License would be desirable
successful candidates must have HNC Social Care/SVQ 3 or working towards this
