Requirements


  • degree in a related discipline
  • solid focus on understanding customer needs and managing product roadmap
  • vast experience in a Product Manager role
  • actuarial projects – specifically migration of Actuarial products
  • A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role, preferably in Networking and or XR technologies
  • sound understanding of Agile & Lean principles
  • security Cleared or Developed Vetting is essential
  • experience of managing budgets and suppliers
  • experience of delivering roadmaps
  • experience of working with stakeholders within a products function
  • experience on infrastructure projects advantageous
  • ability to liaise with external stakeholders in a professional manner
  • you can develop user focused product strategies and get buy-in from the organisation to implement these
  • you understand the wider product landscape and how to define and realise product outcomes and benefits
  • you have strong communication skills, and you engage the team and stakeholders in relevant decision-making throughout the product lifecycle
  • you adapt to evidence and insight as they emerge to inform the products you plan, deliver, and promote
  • you can produce business cases, roadmaps and backlogs for product design and delivery ensuring these realise organisation strategies, meet user needs, manage technical and data risk and embed operational sustainability
  • you are a recognised product expert with demonstrable evidence of a portfolio of products and you can realise the full potential of digital products throughout their lifecycle
  • you demonstrate an advanced understanding of design, technology and data best practice
  • you keep abreast of industry best practice, and you know how to successfully lead teams to continuously improve the product landscape in a sustainable way

Responsibility


  • product Manager – Actuarial Exp. Needed, £80-90k, Hybrid
  • you will be responsible for the leadership, governance and delivery outcomes for the Product & Actuarial Centre of Excellence
  • this leading FTSE 100 FinTech company, is undergoing a technology transformation
  • work directly with the CEO and Vendor Management to establish a Product function
  • as part of this journey, we are moving to a Product Led way of working
  • being the product expert across the portfolio and provide advice to internal teams
  • establish and manage the medium to long term roadmap and manage the Product lifecycle
  • a. Work with end-to-end tester to make sure that end-to-end solution has been properly tested and documented
  • e. Provide cover for standardisation BAU when software developer is on leave
  • d. Work with AWS/RS architect and the component migration teams to make sure that solution is fir for purpose and meets existing requirements
  • QA / Documentation / Security
  • building ITSM policies and processes into the ways of working for the product, working with ITSM practitioners to ensure compliance
  • building regulatory compliance into the Application product, such as GDPR and security controls
  • identifying the best processes and delivery methods to use, including for measuring and evaluating outcomes
  • managing the product through the product lifecycle including discovery, alpha, beta, live states and decommission in line with the product roadmap as set out by the Senior Application Product Manager
