  • experience in mechanical and hydraulic fitting D
  • overtime when required D
  • organisational awareness D
  • ability to work to a quoted time E
  • ability & willingness to travel throughout the UK when required D
  • general hydraulic and mechanical fitting D

Responsibility

  • location
  • newton Aycliffe
  • following step-by-step procedures to weld together tubes, skins and baffles on exhausts
  • preparation of JIGs, fixtures, tools and equipment to complete 'Works Orders'
  • use engineering drawings to complete tasks
  • operation of basic tube manipulation using fabrication equipment such as sizers and slotters
  • assist using TIG if/when required if possible
  • compliance with the technical documentation, the PFC and the company procedures that regulate the calibration / correction process
  • adhere to all company health and safety procedures
