experience in New Product Introduction or Manufacturing Capability Acquisition
understanding of the documentation requirements to enable a detail design to be released onto a shop floor for manufacture
experience of producing reports & technical documentation

Responsibility

ensuring that the technical issues are resolved without delay
carry out document control, recording & transmitting information
liaise with the design team and supply chain to ensure correct operation of the plant on site and successful handover
monitor and record progress on site against the construction programme
liaise and co-ordinate with clients other members of the design team and contractors on technical and commercial issues
all other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager
process internal procurement from equipment enquires though requisitioning and monitoring manufacture through to delivery to site whilst maintaining a comprehensive audit trail
reviewing product designs and take a leading role in defining Manufacturing Strategy
demonstrate knowledge of PCA manufacturing processes and associated equipment
undertake or co-ordinate Process Risk Assessments for the above
demonstrate a knowledge of different PCA component types and packages
be familiar with the PCB/A design process
confident assessing component choices with regards to manufacturing processes and PCA design
experience of wider electronic product design at a module level with particular focus on design for assembly
