Requirements

current gas qualifications , including, CCN1, CEN WAT
experience in domestic gas boiler installations 5 years minimum
knowledge of building and gas safe regulations
competent in central heating wiring
gas safe: 5 years
experienced in domestic boiler installations
have your own van and tools
strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment
ideally able to work with the electrical aspect of wiring boilers, but support cane provided
strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills
boiler installation: 3 years
at least 5 years’ experience of central heating installations
excellent organisation skills
proactive and able to work on own initiative
proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
strong interpersonal and communication skills
strong customer service skills
heating installation: 5 years
minimum of 5 years of experience in central heating installation
own tools and van for transportation of equipment and materials

Responsibility

install and maintain equipment according to schematics and technical specifications
you will be fully supported by our office team to assist you with carrying out the above duties. This team includes surveyors, customer services advisors, design engineers, procurement officers and H&S manager
duties may also include attending to any leaks, gas or water within occupied and unoccupied properties

we are looking for Domestic Installation Engineer to carry out installations works including: full systems, boiler replacements, upgrades and conversions, including cylinders, radiator changes and upgrades of controls, i.e 2 port and 3 port valves, pumps, all associated pipework and power flushing and gas reruns, this also includes all fluing and ventilation requirements and any wet works
due to the specific client contract, candidates must be located or willing to travel to the following locations: EN, N, NW, E, SG, W, AL, MK, RG, HP, SL and some home counties
installation of Gas Boilers: Efficiently and safely install domestic gas boilers in residential properties in accordance with industry standards and regulations
system Upgrades: Upgrade and replace existing heating systems with new, energy-efficient solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to customers
routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of gas boilers to enhance their performance and longevity
customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication regarding work to be done, timelines, and any potential issues
documentation: Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including service records, installation certificates, and safety checks
troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and inconvenience for customers
continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry developments, products, and regulations through continuous professional development
systems integration through work order planning, from design through to operations
lineside support for failures with MFT
create and maintain Ground Test Instructions
support wider team with respect to Capex projects
technical and Balancing Critical path and station
process improvement/Spent Time reduction/Serial allocated time optimization
