Requirements

at least 5 years’ experience of central heating installations
excellent organisation skills

plumbing: 3 years
experience in a Design Engineering role with Systems Installation experience
competent user of Catia with experience of configuration toolsets i.e., PASS, DPDS, VPM, ICC
previous experience in the aerospace sector
be able to provide a flexible approach to varied activities
current gas qualifications , including, CCN1, CEN WAT Unvented Hot Water
current gas qualifications , including, CCN1, CEN WAT • Unvented Hot Water
experience in domestic gas boiler installations

Responsibility

you will be fully supported by our office team to assist you with carrying out the above duties. This team includes surveyors, customer services advisors, design engineers, procurement officers and H&S manager
duties may also include attending to any leaks, gas or water within occupied and unoccupied properties

we are looking for Domestic Installation Engineer to carry out installations works including: full systems, boiler replacements, upgrades and conversions, including cylinders, radiator changes and upgrades of controls, i.e 2 port and 3 port valves, pumps, all associated pipework and power flushing and gas reruns, this also includes all fluing and ventilation requirements and any wet works
due to the specific client contract, candidates must be located or willing to travel to the following locations: EN, N, NW, E, SG, W, AL, MK, RG, HP, SL and some home counties
systems integration through work order planning, from design through to operations
lineside support for failures with MFT
create and maintain Ground Test Instructions
support wider team with respect to Capex projects
technical and Balancing Critical path and station
process improvement/Spent Time reduction/Serial allocated time optimization
identify and share best practices across stations/CDTs/BME to improve efficiency
conceptual design
current product modifications
support to manufacturing sites
support to in service support and continued airworthiness
the Systems Installation Engineer responsibility is to define the best industrial sequence of work to be operated on the shop Floor, optimizing overall Spent Time by Aircraft, through planning and testing of the aircraft systems
improve Process and Serial Allocated time via VA/NVA analysis and shop floor process observation
