Responsibility

  • provide personalized care and support to elderly clients in their own homes or care facilities, tailored to their individual needs
  • assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility
  • administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health conditions, reporting any changes to the care manager or healthcare professionals
  • engage clients in social, recreational, and cognitive activities to promote their mental and emotional well-being
  • perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients
  • develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing regular updates on their well-being and addressing any concerns
  • adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality
  • attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required
  • document and report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate supervisor
  • administer prescribed medications
  • assist with meal preparation
  • we are currently looking to recruit evening Home Care Workers on a part time basis
