experience in hospice care and senior care

Responsibility

provide personalized home care services based on individual client needs
assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
offer companionship and emotional support to clients
perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
implement behavior management strategies for clients with specific needs
provide hospice care and support to clients and their families
housekeeping – keeping their home just the way they like it
offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
document care provided and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals
maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards
administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health
this will range from providing compassionate care right through to personal care and more complex needs
for this role, you must be able to travel to client’s homes around the Formby and Southport area
if you hold a UK drivers licence and have your own car, this is beneficial however not a requirement
if you walk, own a bicycle or use public transport, we can still consider you for the role
