  • you will be working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • the Childcare Practitioner role is required to "sleep in" for which an additional payment is paid

Responsibility

  • provide personalized home care services based on individual client needs
  • assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
  • administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • offer companionship and emotional support to clients
  • perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • implement behavior management strategies for clients with specific needs
  • provide hospice care and support to clients and their families
  • this will range from providing compassionate care right through to personal care and more complex needs
  • for this role, you must be able to travel to client’s homes around the Formby and Southport area
  • if you hold a UK drivers licence and have your own car, this is beneficial however not a requirement
  • if you walk, own a bicycle or use public transport, we can still consider you for the role
