Requirements

  • fitting
  • to succeed, you must be flexible, hardworking and quality conscious
  • be an experienced FLT operative - ideally holding a valid current licence
  • be an experienced FLT operative- ideally holding a valid current licence
  • you will need to have at least 18 months experience of driving a Reach truck
  • in date licence
  • be available to start ASAP
  • forklift Licence – we will consider expired and in house
  • minimum of 12 months experience driver a FLT in a fast paced Warehouse or Manufacturing environment
  • experienced transport/traffic operator/planner within the transport industry, ideally within the pallet network sector
  • FLT experience is required
  • reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
  • effective communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • organised, able to prioritise and multi-task
  • calm under pressure
  • valid FLT license and prior experience in forklift handling
  • valid FLT license and demonstrable experience in operating forklifts
  • valid CSCS card to ensure safety compliance on-site
  • essential CSCS ticket, showcasing your capabilities in construction tasks

Responsibility

  • communicate with warehouse staff to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries
  • unloading & loading vehicles
  • relocate parts between main stores and Test area as per demand
  • general labouring on the shop floor
  • crane Driving
  • fitting work on the generators on the shop floor
  • carry out weekly stock take to ensure continuous accuracy
  • maintain a safe working environment in the stores/warehouse
  • manage daily despatch for the site
  • liaise with Logistics for any collection
  • palletising of goods to ensure safe transportation and minimise damage
  • continuous improvements to stores & warehouse layout/functionality
