Responsibility


  • you will be responsible for working alongside the Head of Hospitality to ensure the smooth running of the home in the general manager's absence
  • managing an account base of live-in care clients
  • conduct new client assessments, risk assessments and create care plans
  • drive quality and improvements to ensure exceptional care delivery

  • deverellsmith have been exclusively retained by a leading Later Living provider in Surrey to find a Field Care Supervisor to support the general manager in the day to day running of the home and ensure the personal health of all residents

  • carry out supervisions and appraisals
  • ensuring CQC compliance, using audits, spot checks and other internal mechanisms
  • agree & manage budgets effectively
  • create and maintain administrative/IT systems
  • provide reports to senior management as and when required
  • manage, monitor and review induction and on-going training needs
  • update Care plans every 6 months or as when the clients need change
  • part take on call duties supporting other team members who is on call
  • ensure the Branch Manager is aware of every complaint, however insignificant it may seem. In the absence of the Branch Manager, report the complaint to the Regional Manager
  • inform the manager immediately of any safeguarding concerns in order to seek guidance
  • provide support to our caregivers in their day-to-day job
  • onboard new caregivers and support them through their 12-week support plan, including spot checks, supervision, and competency signoffs
