Requirements

qualified counsellor with relevant accreditation and certifications
proven experience in relationship counselling
availability to offer in person/face-to-face counselling sessions
must have access to a professional counselling room for face-to-face appointments
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to establish rapport with clients and create a supportive therapeutic alliance
accredited member with BACP, IACP, UKCP or equivalent, or committed to achieve within 12 months
experience of working clinically within statutory and/or voluntary agencies
recognised Diploma in Counselling
managing personally sensitive information
computer literate
at least two years of supervised counselling practice with adults
able to work as part of a team
excellent verbal and written communication skills
diploma, Degree or Masters, or equivalent counselling or psychotherapy qualification as regulated by the RQF or SCQF and from a recognised or a relevant validating organisation e.g. Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body
BACP / IACP / UKCP or equivalent accreditation which includes current membership & evidence of associate membership number
able to use Microsoft Outlook for diary, workload, and email management
previous experience of working with children, young people and adults
be able to travel as required for the role
have experience of remote access support
