Responsibility


  • you will oversee the Action for Carers team and line manage four managers within the service, providing strategic leadership, direction and vision and management support and development to your team
  • you will oversee the operational management of the Action for Carers service working with commissioners, partners and stakeholders, managing a budget and overseeing a new digital system which will help improve the understanding of the impact of the service
  • you will lead on development opportunities, such as creating new opportunities in line with what carers want, such as support from employers, and seeking funding to make it happen
  • you will be part of a supportive Senior Management team of Age UK Oxfordshire and will support the work of peers as well as be supported where equality, diversity and inclusion, and team wellbeing, is at the heart the organisation
  • you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced registered nurses who also teach at Leeds Trinity
