  • maintain the home environment to a high standard and undertake household duties, including tidying common areas, completion of laundry

  • attending medical, school or other appointments and meetings with and for the child or young person
  • supporting the children and young people in all ways necessary and assisting them to complete their daily routines; including getting them up, getting them ready for school, promoting their personal hygiene, ensuring they have meals, transporting them to and from school and any after school activites, providing them with a clear bedtime routine and supporting them during the night if they require it
  • experience of working with children and young people who have suffered trauma
  • level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent
  • experience in a childcare setting
  • passion to help nurture young people
  • A real love for adventure. Outdoor activity qualifications
  • be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins
  • full driving licence
  • all candidates must be over the age of 21
  • must have your own vehicle available, for work purposes
  • online DBS preferred, but not necessary
  • minimum experience of 3 months care work required
