Responsibility

  • identifying and addressing areas for clinical improvement within our homes and communicating this with the wider team

Responsibility

  • ensure that the decoration of the home is to the highest standard and snagging items dealt with in a timely manner
  • respond to requests from the team regarding painting, decorating and wallpapering duties for each home

  • the Regional Painter & Decorator will be in charge of ensuring that all painting, decorating and minor repairs are fixed within a timely manner for all the homes within the group

  • overall responsibility for carrying our weekly tests of the emergency systems within the home
  • reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Operative is responsible for ensuring all maintenance checks are conducted, and that the home is a safe environment for residents, team members and visitors whilst maintaining a high quality of service within the home

Requirements

  • experience within a similar maintenance role, ideally within a healthcare environment, is essential
  • excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills
  • knowledge of and competence in building maintenance
  • good computer skills in order to complete reporting duties

head chef

Responsibility

  • ensure the catering services and residential dining experience is of the highest standard and quality
  • line management of the kitchen teams, handling recruitment and duties such as appraisals, rotas and absence management
  • ensure that requirements of the Food Safety Manual, Health and Safety Manual and Meal policies requirements are met
  • promote choice and dignity to the residents of the home with the services we provide, and ensure the nutritional content of the meals provided cater for the dietary needs of all residents

  • experience as a Head Chef is essential
