Requirements

Responsibility
to provide professional ecological advice, direction and support to Transport for Wales and our partners regarding the assessment, impact and mitigation of our operations on ecology and biodiversity
provide direct ecological support and assurance to multidisciplinary project teams, delivery partners and contractors including review of internal and external documents, data and reports, to ensure accordance with relevant environmental legislation, policy and best practice
be responsible for production of technical reports and providing assurance including production, input and review of technical reports, mitigation strategies, assessments and procedures including PEAs, impact assessments and management plans to ensure compliance and quality control
project management including programming, coordination and review of internal and external ecological related works as and when required to ensure works are compliant, correctly priced, delivered on time and to budget
undertake site, species and habitat surveys as required to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy and best practice and related documents
