All these people work together to ensure a smooth commute to work, or a memorable family road trip.Getting to know usTransport for Wales, also known as TfW, is a not-for-profit organisation set up by the Welsh Government in 2016. We want to inspire people to think differently about the way they travel. We want walking, wheeling, cycling, and travelling by public transport to be their preferred choice.We’ve already made a big impact on many people’s lives, and this will continue as we develop a sustainable, integrated transport network across Wales. It’s a big responsibility, but we’re a big organisation taking on the challenge.Our vision is to create a transport network of which Wales is proud. And our mission is to ‘Keep Wales Moving’ safely by delivering customer-focused services, expert advice, and sustainable infrastructure investment.We aim to increase the number of journeys by active travel or public transport by 40% by 2040.
