security manager
Responsibility
- responsible for overseeing and setting operational tasks and targets in line with service levels and performance indicators
- responsible for the daily operational and staff management of the shift team to proactively support the community
- plan rotas and schedules and arrange cover for absence as needed ensuring service levels are maintained
- whilst on shift, manage the Control Room to always ensure staffed, and deal with emergencies and incidents
- act as the ultimate Incident Response Manager to all incidents, ranging from minor to major
- ensure duties are covered to the agreed standard by team members and that duties are performed strictly in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures
- work with other Duty Managers and the Campus Safety and Security Manager to continually review and update standard operating procedures and other instructions
- 17. Undertake any other requirements commensurate with the seniority of the post and as required by the Campus Safety and Security Manager
