Responsibility

analysis of evidence and setting case strategies encompassing both technical and commercial considerations
drafting points of dispute
obtaining and drafting pleadings, witness statements, conducting negotiation of claims
there will also be opportunities to attend conferences and hearings with counsel
negotiating claims to conclusion
adhering closely to client protocol and process, using our bespoke case management system
acting as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience
making an appropriate contribution to non-fee-earning activity e.g. knowledge sharing, training, client seminars and business development
ensuring full compliance with clients' SLAs and DAC Beachcroft's internal protocols
effectively time record and aim to achieve and meet a budgeted annual target in respect of chargeable hours per year
assume responsibility for quality control and benchmark compliance on own caseload, including accuracy and timeliness of management reporting and information
supporting marketing and business development activity within the team , where appropriate
review of Group General Terms and Conditions and General Pricing Terms against Securities Services Templates
review Account Opening Form. Template needs to be updated and be fit for Depositary and Custody
creation and sign off of intra-group agreements required for the Securities Services Templates
review of new licences or other services with third party providers
assisting with Depositary Application and UK Branch application
help create amendment agreements and termination letters, which will be circulated to the commercial leads Managing the process to track progress
assisting Head of Legal with the implementation of DocuSign at the new electronic signature tool
helping to create contract gap analysis report to be presented by Head of Legal to Group Legal re: Securities Services Templates
