  • able to travel to other UKHSA sites
  • experience of working with a wide range of library users, at all levels
  • A graduate or postgraduate qualification in a Knowledge and Information Management related discipline such as knowledge management, records management, library and information studies, information rights, information science or information management, including those which have been accredited by CILIP or ARA, or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a library and knowledge services setting

  • develop and co-ordinate staff training around accessing the heritage collections and developing an awareness of local history and heritage
  • plan, develop and deliver engagement with customers and partners to promote an understanding of local heritage and the local history and archive collections
  • ascertaining user requirements and analysing usage data
  • negotiating prices and making recommendations to stakeholders
  • negotiating and agreeing use and contract terms with vendors in line with A&O guidelines and communicating details to users
  • ensuring records are updated and maintained throughout the subscription period
  • presenting performance metrics to global management
