payroll manager
Requirements
- 5 years in Payroll environment
- experience of working with payroll data reconciliation and analysis of payroll reports
- experience of working with third-party payroll solution providers
- strong customer focused approach and stakeholder management skills
- strong payroll legislation knowledge
- in depth knowledge of Payroll processes, including the full Payroll lifecycle, e.g. new joiners, leavers, movers, and specialist configuration areas such as Salary Sacrifice schemes, Pensions etc
- ability to work accurately and to deadlines
- excellent attention to detail
Responsibility
- support account management of the outsourced payroll provider which supports team service delivery
- directly manage the HR Admin Manager and HR & Pay Coordinators to deliver exceptional HR and payroll services efficiently and accurately
- lead the department to ensure a customer focused service is delivered to all our employees and managers
- continually drive effective process and service improvements across the team
- develop and manage positive stakeholder relationships
- provide expert payroll knowledge on all aspects of the Payroll lifecycle and any specialist areas, such as Salary Sacrifice schemes, Pensions, RTI reporting
