due to continued growth, they now seek an experienced Media Field Sales Consultant to sell advertising packages direct to SMEs across the above region
3 years' experience within advertising and/or sponsorship in a similar commercial role
experience selling print and online/digital advertising
previous account management and development of account experience
ability to consistently achieve targets

external account management experience
researching potential clients and developing new business opportunities
selling advertising and exhibition space to clients
cold calling potential clients
maintaining existing client relationships and identifying opportunities to upsell
preparing proposals and negotiating contracts with clients
attending industry events and conferences
international travel will be required
to reach monthly agreed sales targets
to prepare and present proposals and presentations
to attend functions and exhibitions in the given sector
to be able to pursue new revenue streams
to be able to present reports and achieve KPI’s and deliver an excellent customer service in a professional manor
keep accurate records of any sales activity secured
research and develop a list of potential advertisers and/or sponsors for each project activity
keep a precise records of conversations with all clients, advertisers and sponsors within the CRM system
identify and validate any prospects
effectively raise secondary income for the business through the sale of advertising and sponsorship packages for publications, events, company-related awards and other projects
effectively negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales
liaise with the Operations Manager, Events Project Manager and New Business Development Officer in respect of sharing sales information and target updates
