Requirements

you will hold a recognised welding Apprenticeship to N/SVQ Level 3 as a minimum
welding / coded Welding
an in-depth knowledge of welding standards, welding processes, welding techniques and their requirements
carry out work within a realistic time frame
must supply own PPE including helmet

MIG Steel Welding: 1 year
previous experience of working within trenches – Preferable but not essential
able to read and interpret Construction Drawings
MMA – Manual Metal Arc - Qualified to BS EN ISO 15614 – 1:2017+A1 2019 and or Oxy Acetylene – - Qualified to BS EN ISO 9606 – 1:2017
proven experience as a Stick Welder in the construction or manufacturing industry
proficiency in stick welding techniques and practices
ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
knowledge of different metals and alloys and their welding requirements
ability to read drawings
ensure that all safety measures are in place
ensure that welds meet project specifications
ensure the welds are performed in accordance with standards
