Requirements

  • quality Control Assistant/Quality Controller
  • you have worked within a jewellery production environment, experience of the jewellery manufacturing process with a strong technical understanding
  • you have experience in working in quality control with jewellery, including an understanding high end jewellery & precious Stones
  • you are self motivated, logical and proactive with a strong drive to achieve tangible results within short time frames
  • you have a creative approach to problem solving
  • you are highly organised and have good communication skills
  • you are able to work across multiple project simultaneously & work under pressure
  • you remain calm and can work to tight deadlines and unforeseen circumstances
  • you are happy to work Mon-Fri from the head office

  • desirable: NEBOSH Environmental Certificate. First Aid training, Fire Warden Training, Internal Auditing certificate. TechIOSH status
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • experience in material & concrete testing within a laboratory environment
  • thoroughness to ensure products meet required specifications
  • knowledge of the construction/civils industry
  • experience in setting out or taking measurements on site
  • capability to work in a busy factory environment
  • ability to interpret technical drawings
  • good communication, negotiation, and organisational skills

Responsibility

  • attend Operation, Production Meetings as may be required
  • ensure that any faults found are recorded in line with company procedure
  • assist with defect resolution and follow up actions
  • position: Health and Safety/Quality Control Assistant
  • location: Bromborough
  • the HSEQ Assistant is required to provide assistance, direction and development of all facets in the management of the Health & Safety, Environment and Quality controls within a fast-growing company
  • hours of Work: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday need some flexibility

  • other related admin, including missing stock investigations
  • when needed / requested to be flexible and support other departments
  • logging all necessary data from the Quality and Inventory checks
  • daily amnesty checks to relocate items back into stock
  • suggested modifications of batches to meet quality specifications
  • assisting in product complaint investigations
  • booking shipments on for collection with freight forwarders
  • set up QC specifications for new products, tracking and amending
