Responsibility


  • to provide advice and guidance to junior members of the team in order for them to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • to ensure that best ways of working are utilised by following best design standards, guidelines and best practices
  • we'd love to speak to Senior and Lead UX Designers with an interest in Financial Services, to lead a small product experience team of two other designers within a fintech app and site who are looking to expand their offering
  • the role is a hybrid position with two days per week in the office, but they're not precious about it and can discuss arrangements with the right person
  • they've been going just over five years and have already expanded to help consumers with mortgages, savings and investments, and are now ready for the next step in their expansion
  • work closely with other designers to ensure the team delivers consistent user experience for our customers
  • building on our existing components and design system, you will also collaborate with Kaluza's UK teams to share insights, gather async feedback and represent our UX team in client meetings
  • you will help elevate the quality and impact of our Customer and Agent experience products and inform Kaluza's future experience offerings for retailers globally
  • write up case studies and proposition / sales support materials from projects
  • employ research-driven methodologies and agile design techniques to ensure that products or services meet user expectations and drive business value
  • work with the Product Manager to create user personas, journey maps and workflows to represent diverse user needs
  • develop wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes to help visualize solutions
  • collaborate closely with cross functional teams including product managers, developers, business analysts and stakeholders to align on user requirements
  • ensure the design process is iterative, incorporating user feedback at every stage
  • advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity and usability standards are met
  • use design thinking principles to solve complex problems from a user-first perspective
  • conduct user research using methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing and ethnographic studies to understand and analyze user behaviour, preferences and pain points through data and insights
  • conduct usability testing and heuristic evaluations to identify areas for improvement
  • monitor and measure the effectiveness of designs post-launch through user feedback and analytics
  • document design decision, research findings and processes clearly for the team members and stakeholders
