Responsibility


  • engaging with delivery squad Scrum Masters to track team backlog items and map these to product and technical roadmaps
  • acting as a central liaison for deliveries to dependent projects, providing summarised milestone updates and managing change requests
  • tracking resource requirements, allocation, and utilisation as part of wider departmental budget management activities
  • identifying moments for organisational learning and ensure that improvements are identified, communicated, and implemented effectively
  • following project governance standards and recommending appropriate changes to controls in support of successful delivery
  • co-create and co-own plans and progress using recognised lean/agile practices and provide useful and accurate delivery metrics to facilitate continual improvement
  • this could include identifying bottlenecks in processes and facilitating improvements to remove them
  • providing regular updates to senior stakeholders on progress, blockers, risks and areas for them to lean in and support delivery if required
  • stakeholder Management: Building relationships with cross-government stakeholders at working and senior level to gain buy-in and progress implementation
  • prepare a detailed plan for the delivery of new digital tool or improvements to an existing tool
  • challenge and support colleagues also working in the project, to deliver to time scales determined by the project
  • maintain RAID documents for the project
  • assist in communicating with the various stakeholders including but exclusively Users, Product Owners, Developers, Tester Managers
  • assist in the establishment of communications strategy for projects
  • develop flowcharts for existing processes and work with stakeholders to establish a 'to be' process flow
  • carry out an assessment of requirements for the development of new systems or improvements for existing tools
  • develop user stories and acceptance criteria
  • certified Scrum Master/Safe Agilist / Product Owner
  • any Project Management qualification
  • any Salesforce certification would be beneficial
