Requirements


  • you have experience in a similar Technical Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer role
  • you have a deep understanding of Windows Servers / Microsoft products
  • you have a broad technical understanding of data security, risk analysis and threat modelling techniques used in the Information Security space
  • you have a high level knowledge of Linux, networking, firewalls, VPN configuration, Docker, microservices, Cloud

Responsibility


  • researching and analysing the global market for Rail - Service & Manufacturing to identify opportunities
  • initiate and develop relationships with key people within target customers
  • generate enquiries, organise quotations and relentlessly pursue the order
  • attend, exhibit and maximise the opportunity at suitable trade shows
  • travel to UK customer sites as well as being prepared to visit non UK sites
  • generate and host customer visits to the manufacturing facility
  • conduct technical consultations with potential clients to understand their HVAC requirements
  • provide expert advice and recommend suitable HVAC solutions, including chillers, AHUs, air source heat pumps, and CRAH/CRAC units
  • prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the unique features and benefits of our client's products
  • collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities
  • continuously monitor individual performance against the objectives set in agreement with the UK Development Manager
  • develop exceptional customer relationships with existing and potential clients
  • prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers
  • ensure timely follow-up on all proposals issued to the market
  • communication with clients and team to ensure that customer satisfaction levels are upheld
  • good all round technical support and problem solving skills
  • utilising the latest equipment and technology they have an enviable reputation in the engineering sector, manufacturing to the highest quality
  • they employ around 90 staff at the site in King's Lynn and have a dynamic and friendly culture within the company
  • due to continued success and expansion a further Sales Engineer is required to join the technical sales team
