  • A degree or equivalent in a technical or creative field

Responsibility


  • the core focus around this position is the building and maintenance of the company's professional B2B facing website
  • due to the audience of the website knowledge of a financial services or similar professional services field would be preferred
  • A strong knowledge of overall digital marketing background would be beneficial including A/B testing, Analytics and strategic mind
  • you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to develop the websites in line with the goals of the wider business
  • within your day to day tasks you will ensure the smooth incorporation of content on web pages in forms of imagery and video
  • A strong understanding and application of SEO and QA softwares will be critical for the success of the role
  • content creation and management of the social media platforms
  • manage the launch and roll out of the upgraded website and help to encourage stakeholder sign-up
  • manage the relationship with website developers. Making sure branding and guidance is correctly applied across all associated projects
  • uploading content and generating bespoke and auto-generated newsletters to communicate with stakeholders and website subscribers
  • research and implement website and social media links as well as reporting on data
  • edit and generate content for our journalism website Salford Now and associated platforms
  • work effectively within a multi-skilled team environment, providing support to staff and students
  • take responsibility of journalism projects and tasks assigned to them and ensure completion to agreed deadlines
  • show initiative to meet competing demands and to resolve problems that arise as part of delivering an innovative local news service
  • take opportunities to work on other activities, depending upon the needs of the subject area and the intern’s own preferences and career direction
