Responsibility

SQL Server/Oracle DBA
lead SQL Server DBA
provide knowledge transfer and warranty period support
be a lead and motivator for the team, by promoting continuous improvement, mentoring the team and being responsible for technical escalations
support on an AWS migration project
provide technical expertise and knowledge to maintain and update the SQL server environment
managing the queue to ensure unassigned tickets are owned and being proactive to prevent tickets breaching SLA
report on status of all DBs, monitor and ensure consistent uptime of all backend systems
work in line with IT strategy on moving from on prem SQL to cloud technologies
provide weekly input to project plans and status updates in DBA meetings

build serves and analyse, design, and document the infrastructure design in line with processes and procedures
