Requirements


  • source data from a collection of already identified trusted sources in a secure manner
  • collate and format data to facilitate processing and presentation for review and further advanced analysis by others
  • present data for review and analysis by others, using required medium for example tables, charts and graphs
  • blend data by combining data from various sources and formats to explore its relevance for the business needs
  • analyse simple and complex structured and unstructured data to support business outcomes using basic statistical methods to analyse the data
  • validate results of analysis using various techniques, e.g cross checking, to identify faults in data results and to ensure data quality
  • communicate results verbally, through reports and technical documentation and tailoring the message for the audience
  • store, manage and share data securely in a compliant manner
  • collaborate with people both internally and externally at all levels with a view to creating value from data
  • minimum 5 years experience as an A1, preferably for large or high profile events
  • experience in live event corporate settings, working with high level talent
  • strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology
  • specific technologies include Yamaha CL Series, SSL Consoles, Midas Consoles, Shure Wireless Workbench, Solid State Logic, and L’Acoustics
  • extensive knowledge of audio and video signal flow
  • ability to program and operate mixing consoles, microphones, and other audio equipment effectively
  • strong knowledge of Pensions, Pensions Products, and the Pension Lifecycle
  • demonstrable experience assessing and implementing regulatory and legislative change
  • technical knowledge of regulations, legislation, procedures, and administrative systems in relation to Pensions
  • ability to communicate and engage with senior management and key stakeholders
  • financial Services background, ideally within Life & Pensions

Responsibility


  • prepare and assist in customer visits and site technical audits where necessary
  • ensure the tasks and any other requested activities are completed within the designated timescales
  • assist with customer complaints: identifying root causes and determining corrective actions required to prevent further complaints; ensuring complaints are closed out as per procedure and, where applicable, determine supplier corrective actions required to prevent further reoccurrences; complaint trends are to be monitored and communicated to all relevant personnel responsible for ensuring corrective action is taken
  • completing ad hoc tasks as per requests
  • validating data as per requirements set by Data Management Team
  • collaborate with the Director, Producer, Sound Designer, and / or client to understand the sound requirements of each production
  • operating virtual event platforms based on technical ROS requirements
  • work closely with A2s and/or presenters to properly position and track lav microphones
  • live video source switching between pre-recorded material and live presenters
  • prepare, organize, and manage handheld microphones as required
  • operation of PTZ cameras
  • follow the run-of-show document to ensure smooth show flow
  • onboarding and management of remote presenter end-points
  • coordinate with other crew members to execute audio elements before and during shows
  • conducting thorough overhauls of instrumentation, including tubing
  • performing loop checks, repairs, calibration, and other related tasks
  • ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality
