  • valid MOT Tester License
  • strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
  • proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and adjustments
  • ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards
  • strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and explain test results
  • served a recognised apprenticeship to minimum City and Guilds / BTEC level with Mechanical / Electrical / electronic bias
  • able to read electrical/mechanical schematics competently
  • ability to work in a pressurised environment and make decisions to tight deadlines
  • must demonstrate commitment to maintaining professional knowledge and ensure the depth of their specialist knowledge is maintained

  • proven experience as a Senior On-Site AV Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry

Responsibility


  • conduct MOT tests in accordance with regulatory guidelines and standards
  • inspect vehicles for any defects or issues that may affect their safety or compliance
  • use mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve any faults or malfunctions
  • perform necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure vehicles pass the MOT test
  • keep accurate records of all tests conducted and results obtained
  • provide clear and detailed explanations to customers regarding any failed tests or required repairs
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • maintain existing applications and fulfil typical administrative activities
  • ensuring the operational health of the Power Platform & SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability
  • respond to application questions, bugs, and other problems requiring issue resolution
  • implement minor changes, bug fixes to Power Platform Apps, Flows and SharePoint sites
  • identification of bugs and escalation/management of development resource to resolve
  • provisioning, managing, and assigning security permissions to users and groups
  • provide 2nd and 3rd line support for applications in the Microsoft Stack to include Power Platform, M365, SharePoint online and Power Automate
  • administration of lists, libraries, sites and content
  • support the Development and implementation of new M365 applications and SharePoint sites
  • enforce governance standards
  • develop standard operating procedures, user guides and training for Office 365 applications
  • support the business's departments and teams in their adoption of the Office 365 suite of application
  • assist in the functional and business testing of applications
