Requirements

experience of Model-Based Systems Engineering
requires a current SC security clearance
experience developing secure communications systems
experience of Enterprise Architect modelling tool
experience delivering a system of systems
experience of DOORS requirements management tool
an organised individual with a natural curiosity to seek out and contrast all possible solutions
ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining effective communications within the team
bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant healthcare experience including at least 5 years of relevant clinical operations experience
broad understanding of global clinical operations processes and ability to translate these processes into relevant integrated IT solutions
strategic mindset to ensure deliverables are aligned with overarching vision of business function
flexibility to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
recognised relevant aerospace qualification to at least HND standard or above supported by relevant technical training
excellent people leadership and communication skills
ability to present and communicate comfortably with management
able to collaborate effectively within a multi-cultural, global, matrix organization
sound knowledge and experience of applying general Systems Engineering principles
electronic
strong background in the engineering domain, with experience in embedded systems development and support, especially full lifecycle

hours – Typically 38 hours per week
elicit, analyse and translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements
location – Aldermaston, Berkshire – some travel required
undertake requirements derivation, architecture development and system simulation
determination – Inside IR35
undertake modelling and simulation to explore problem space and potential system solutions
duration – TBC

perform or lead trade studies and analyse the relative benefits/merits of competing solutions
lead the development and delivery of viable technical solutions that meet customer requirements
manage and develop long term plans in support of life-cycle phases using Systems Engineering best practice
support process capture, implementation and improvements for integrating the sub-systems
support project reviews for internal programmes and external contracts, including providing written reports and verbal briefs to management and stakeholders
undertake requirements verification and validation and support technology teams’ derivation of verification and validation events, test cases, test plans and test specifications, to support integration activities
maintain and promote awareness of Systems Engineering best practice and wider systems issues
work within a multi-functional team to solve the problem presented by the customer
work with the system, hardware, and software architects to ensure consistency, design for modularity and re-use, and technical excellence
