Responsibility

identify and deliver opportunities for continual improvement of the threat detection capability
work closely alongside other Cyber Defence functions, supporting the continual improvement of wider capabilities
develop and update internal documentation, including knowledge base articles, standards, and policies
act as an escalation point for, and provide coaching and mentoring to, security analysts and detection engineers
the role
ensuring that MDE integrates with the organisation's overall security architecture, meets any compliance requirements, and provides the desired level of protection
collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop MDE security strategy and roadmap and roll out plan
maintain and configure the digital security tools within the business
provide 2nd and 3rd level support to the IT and SOC team when required
provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders, including windows, Linux and end user compute teams
stay current with emerging security trends and threats, and proactively recommend MDE policies and configurations to address these challenges
input into plans, policies and provide recommendations to how to deal with the latest threats and attacks
