Requirements


  • manage the Project Quality Team
  • manage the quality plan ensuring it is kept up to date and amended as needed
  • participate in client surveillance visits and audits, ensuring follow-up on findings
  • reporting on quality assurance both internally and for the client
  • train all project staff on the QMS
  • identify and monitor any non-conformance and manage the non-conformance process
  • establish and follow-up on quality action plans to drive continuous improvement
  • be responsible for the quality inspections and audits across the contract, developing schedules and managing the process across third party, supplier and internal works
  • any other duties as required
  • previous KBR experience an advantage
  • experience with some of the major operators Shell, BP, Total and Aramco would be advantageous
  • experience of oil & gas projects is essential
  • ISO9001:2015 auditor qualification preferred

Responsibility


  • astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a multi technical engineering business, who have secured a significant contract within the Nuclear new build market to recruit a Quality Manager for its Bristol site
  • focussed on providing quality leadership across a business area
  • defines the specific application of the organisation’s management system to a particular project or activity, including agreement to any tailoring
  • prioritises quality management activities across their business area through effective deployment of risk and opportunity management tools and techniques
  • supports the Business Director by producing the quality strategy for their business area, gaining agreement and sponsorship from the senior management team and in alignment with the Cavendish Nuclear Quality Strategy
  • provides coaching, advice and support at all levels of the business, ensuring successful delivery of quality plan in line with agreed targets
  • supports the SSHEQR Director and Senior Quality Manager in defining the business’ processes, plans for quality and proposes quality targets and agrees them with the organisation’s leadership
  • supports the SSHEQR Director and Senior Quality Manager in ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are addressed by the BMS including legal, regulatory, Customer and shareholders and that the BMS is maintained and up-to-date
  • provides advice and guidance to their business area on the flow down of quality requirements from Customers and other stakeholders through the supply chain 8
  • supports the SSHEQR Director and Senior Quality Manager in the definition and implementation of assurance activities for their business area, department or project, including supply chains and partnerships
  • they will be required to liaise with the Chennai office
  • reporting to the Project Manager
  • the Project Quality Manager will be responsible for administering the Project Quality Management System, including conducting internal audits, and input to pre-award Procurement activities
  • duration: Initial 12 month contract
  • planning and managing network’s quality monitoring program
  • evaluation of information returned by members
  • being part of the team carrying out on-site and remote reviews across our global membership
  • being a point of contact for any queries regarding quality management including our member firm ISQM1 solution
  • reviewing new membership applications; liaising with regional executive directors; performing due diligence procedures; and carrying out reviews as appropriate
  • writing guidance for members and presenting material on quality management in webinars and conferences
